LAURA WAGER

Laura first got into bartending during her time as the bar manager at Bread ‘n’ Butter’s BRGR Power & Light location.After delving into the cocktail scene, she knew she had to find a job that allowed her to spend more time learning and tending bar.  She then left to work under Erik Mariscal at the Local Pig Westport location (RIP) and took over the bar program at Il Lazzarone after that.  Laura has recently accepted the position of bar manager at AEP, a new restaurant on 39th street, focusing on regional Thai cuisine.  Her new cocktail menu featuring Thai ingredients will launch in April.  She also is the treasurer of the USBG’s Kansas City chapter.
